Terrorists poison Ngee Ann City fountain
Terrorists who have obviously been watching Batman Begins have realized that contaminating water bodies is a great way to strike fear into those who live by fear, and poisoned the water in the Ngee Ann City fountain with bubblebath.
They thought wrong.
Rather than reeling in shock at the repercussions of being stuck with a stagnant fountain full of bubbles and no clean, safe water that doesn't require boiling before drinking, people were taking photos of it like nobody's business.
Given the rowdiness of the Orchard Road night crowd, it is surprising that nobody jumped into the fountain and started having a party.
As usual, security people were helpless and trying to look like they were doing something by speaking into walkie-talkies every 5 minutes.

seem there's lots of happening in orchard these days ... first the starwars invasion , follow by fab4 , and now bubble tea fountain ... guess i'm gonna really avoid orchard this couple of weeks , it's too " dangerous " to be there :)
anyway .. author ... isn't it high time u go into the heartland and take pictures ??? like kopi-tiam , wet market , town center , HDB ... these location truely reflect the true singaporean identity ~

Lighten up guys. Take it in the right spirit - it's a prank by some guys with a sense of humour. No one was hurt, some people have a little more work to do, and a lot of people have a good laugh about it. That's it.
I just heard about Sharon Osbourne and Tom Cruise about to sue Channel 4 (for spraying water in their faces as a prank). This is just like that. No frigging sense of humour.
This is why Singapore's can get so boring.
